food for thought. mrgan: Dan Benjamin on Back to Work: “I don’t believe it’s possible to have a side business. I don’t think you can have a business on the side. I don’t think you can go to work and have a job and then come home and run a business. I believe that both the job and the side business… you will never…

From: Missu: Have you read more than 6 of these... →
Looks like I’ve read more than 6 of the books listed… although a few were high school books and if it hadn’t been for my book challenge last year, I’d have a lot less checked off! missu: Bold those books you’ve read in their entirety. Italicize the ones you started but didn’t finish or read only an excerpt. 1 Pride and Prejudice – Jane Austen 2 The Lord of the Rings –...

Sandwich Day!  I do like food but I’m not a huge sandwich fan. missu: thatfriendlyblackguy: thatchris: extravagantfrivolity:  Bratwurst Festival. My birthday is the day of German Sausage. I don’t know how to feel about this. Mine is National Popcorn Day and Child Labor Day. So I guess I could go to the movies and buy cheaply-made clothing. Hoodie Hoo Day?? (Sometimes I get...

What's happening?
Recovering from a cold which means I’ve been in bed for the last 3 days.  Sigh.  Ask me a question :)  I need some distractions!

Pizza for the 99%?
clientsfromhell: Client: “Can you draft me up a banner for our downtown location?” Me: “Sure. What did you have in mind?” Client: “It’s very simple. The Banner will read ‘#Occupy Pizza!’” Me: “Uh, do you really want to use that as a marketing ploy? I think it has different connotations than you might think—” Client: “And a picture of a pizza with a tiny slice shaded that says ‘We’re the 99%, so...
